Victorian Conservatory – Hyde, Greater Manchester

This was a box gutter Victorian conservatory with an approx ground build up of 800 mm, due to the difference in house floor level and garden level. In addition, the retaining wall was re-built.

Box guttering was required in order to enable the Victorian conservatory roof to accommodate the existing deep tiled house roof. Crystal artwork was applied to all opening window lites.

For the conservatory’s roofing system, bronze exterior and opel interior 35mm polycarbonate roofing was installed.

P Shaped Conservatory – Glossop, Derbyshire

This P shaped conservatory has been created from an original Victorian design which we installed approx 6 yrs ago.

The left hand elevation was removed and a new base, dwarf wall, conservatory frame and entirely new roof were then installed. This has given the conservatory a completely new look and increased the floor area by 9 sq m.

The clients are absolutely thrilled with the outcome and the savings made by the conversion as opposed to a completely new conservatory from scratch, are considerable.

Conservatory - High Peak, Derbyshire

This Victorian conservatory installation has a rosewood exterior and white interior box gutter.

The conservatory roof is self cleaning clear toughened glass. This conservatory has the additional energy saving additions of Pilkingtons K Glass and argon gas throughout.

A large build up was required due to sloping garden and part of the conservatory is attached to the existing porch. The box gutter detail within the conservatory was required to accommodate porch protrusion.

The conservatory was fully plastered out, with 3 double sockets and a tv point installed. The ceramic tiled floor was laid down with matching skirting boards and internal window sills installed.

Rosewood was specifically selected for the conservatory exterior to ideally compliment the traditional local stone construction of this 19th C detached dwelling.
